The iBoxx AUD Covered Index measures the performance of investment grade, AUD-denominated covered bonds. The index comprises bonds with a minimum amount outstanding of AUD 250 million and a minimum time to maturity of 18 months at issuance and 12 months at rebalancing. The index includes covered bonds, which are secured by a general pool of assets in case the issuer becomes insolvent, conforming to UCITS 22.4 or similar directives. Eligible bonds must be publicly placed, with retail bonds and private placements excluded from the index.
