Yuan Tian
Executive Director, Multi-Asset Indices
Yuan Tian is Executive Director, Multi-Asset Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). Yuan brings extensive experience in developing and managing multi-asset and quantitative investment strategy index product suites for institutional and retail clients. Her responsibilities are focused on the product management of multi-asset and option indices, which cover a variety of index solutions.
Yuan previously led HSBC’s APAC QIS product marketing/development, where she planned product initiatives, spearheaded client education and secured multiple investment mandates. Yuan has served at both PIMCO Portfolio Management in London, where she oversaw investment risk across global portfolios and contributed to European and Global Investment Committees, and at Barclays Capital, focusing on cross-asset index product research and bespoke tradable indices covering fixed income, commodities and equities.
She has a bachelor’s degree in econometrics and mathematical economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
