Kunal Mehta
Global Head of Fixed Income Product Management
Kunal Mehta is Global Head of Fixed Income Products at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI), where he leads the firm’s global fixed income product organization. He is responsible for the strategic oversight, growth and commercial strategy of S&P DJI’s fixed income index suite, including the industry-leading iBoxx bond and loan indices, as well as the S&P Bond and Municipal Bond Indices. With over two decades of global investment experience, Kunal brings deep market insight and a client-focused approach to fixed income index innovation.
Prior to joining S&P DJI, Kunal held senior fixed income leadership and specialist roles at BlackRock, Vanguard, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley. Most recently, he served as EMEA Commercial Fixed Income Strategy Lead and Senior Product Strategist at iShares, BlackRock, where he played a key role in driving product strategy, and growth across both active and index-based fixed income ETF offerings.
Kunal is a CFA charterholder and a member of both the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of the U.K. He holds a Bachelor of Science in banking, finance and management from Loughborough University. Outside of work, he is a devoted Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
