Navient Corp. unit Xtend Healthcare LLC acquired Los Angeles-based ELIPSe for an undisclosed amount.

ELIPSe is a revenue cycle management company focusing on electronic health records consulting, ICD-10 coding quality and auditing, interim health information management and coding management, and clinical documentation improvement engagements.

Elaine Lips, founder and CEO of ELIPSe, will lead Xtend's expanded health information management services and ELIPSe's 22 employees will join the company.
