EC World REIT's manager, EC World Asset Management Pte. Ltd., said the real estate investment trust has been included in two FTSE indices.

EC World joined FTSE ST China Index Sept. 24, while its inclusion in the FTSE ST Singapore Shariah Index commenced Oct. 5.

Launched in 2008, the FTSE ST China Index features companies that are in the FTSE ST All-Share Index, and that draw more than 50% of their revenues from the mainland, or that have at least 50% of their operating assets in China in order to be considered for inclusion on the index.

The FTSE ST Singapore Shariah Index, meanwhile, was launched Oct. 5, and aims to be the basis for Shariah-compliant investment products focused on local listed companies that are Shariah-compliant.
