VerizonCommunications Inc. is rolling out news plans offering its prepaidwireless customers continued data access at reduced speeds after they reachtheir monthly data allotment.
Once the customer surpasses his or her 4G data allotment,speeds are reduced to 128 Kbps, satisfactory for sending emails or postingstatus updates to social media, the company said in a July 18 post on itswebsite. The "Always-On" data feature is offered with the mobilecarrier's $45-per-month 3GB and $60-per-month 6GB prepaid plans.
