Marko Jazbec was appointed management board chairman at Pozavarovalnica Sava d.d. for a five-year term starting once the Slovenian Insurance Supervision Agency has approved the appointment, the insurer said on Dec. 16.

Jazbec has held top management positions in various companies and institutions, including the Slovenian central bank and SKB Banka d.d. Ljubljana, and headed the Slovenian Sovereign Holding until mid-July 2016.

Pozavarovalnica Sava's previous management board chairman, Zvonko Ivanušic, was recalled from the post in August and filed a lawsuit against the company alleging unlawful dismissal.
