ASX-listed EchoResources Ltd. said April 4 that it has begun drilling at its Zaphodand Julius gold prospects in the Yandalgold belt in Western Australia.
Drilling will include testing near-surface zones of gold mineralizationvia air core drilling.
Echo has completed 13 holes for 695 meters at Zaphod, covering110 meters of strike over the outcropping quartz zone.
The rig was moved April 3 and completed three holes. Zaphod sampleshave been dispatched to the laboratory, with results expected within three weeks.
Drilling for the Julius prospect will include 80 vertical holesfor 3,500 meters to better define the resource. Drilling is expected to last twoweeks.
