Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 2.5% from 3.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 15.3% year over year to C$5.0 million from C$4.4 million, and total operating expenses rose 19.3% from the prior-year period to C$5.6 million from C$4.7 million.
Reported net income totaled a loss of C$208,000, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to income of C$192,000, or 0 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
