The Villages, Fla.-based Citizens First Bank named Lindsey Morse Blaise president of the bank, effective Jan. 1, Villages-News.com reported Jan. 12.

Blaise started as an intern at the bank in 2008. She replaced Stephen Kurtz, who serves as the bank's CEO, according to the news outlet.

The bank is a subsidiary of Villages Bancorp Inc.
