Convergys Corp. is opening a new site in Timisoara, Romania, to establish multilingual contact center operations.
The contact center can support more than 500 jobs and is expected to be operational by early summer, at which time existing employees will transfer from legacy operations. Convergys currently has about 150 employees at a contact center in Timisoara who provide German-language services.
