Neogen director resigns

Neogen Corp. said independent director A. Charles Fischer resigned from the board for health reasons, effective immediately.

The animal and food safety company said Fischer's term as a director was to expire in 2018. Fischer joined the Neogen board in 2006 after retiring as CEO and president of Dow AgroSciences in 2004.

Neogen plans to appoint an interim director to complete Fischer's term.
