Geoff Lucas, McGrath Ltd.'s COO from 2008 to 2016, is rejoining the company as CEO.

Founder and executive director John McGrath said Lucas played a significant role in the company and noted his experience in the property market, the McGrath business and helping the company build its earnings when he was still COO. Lucas, meanwhile, said he will work with management on revitalizing the company, which he said is in a "challenging period."

Lucas was most recently COO at Sonoma Bakery Group.

Recently, McGrath added Andrew Robinson and Peter Lewis to its board. Together with John McGrath, the three are working on a new corporate plan, which will include McGrath's senior management structure.
