DowDuPont Inc. announced the names of three independent companies its plans to create.

The agriculture entity will be called Corteva Agriscience and will be headquartered in Wilmington, Del. The materials science entity will be called Dow with its headquarters in Midland, Mich. The new specialty products company will be named DuPont and will be based in Wilmington.

DowDuPont expects to launch the agriculture and specialty products entities by June 1, 2019, while the materials science entity will likely be launched in the first quarter of 2019.
