France's trade deficit narrowed to €4.73 billion in October from a revised €5.42 billion recorded in the prior month, latest data from the Department of Statistics and Foreign Trade Studies showed.
Exports climbed to €43.01 billion from a revised €41.60 billion recorded in September while imports rose to €47.74 billion from a revised €47.01 billion over the same period.
On a quarterly basis, exports fell 0.6%, while imports edged up 0.2%. On a yearly basis, exports rose 1.7% and imports increased 1.0%.
