FlexiGroup cuts final dividend for fiscal 2016-2017

FlexiGroup lowered its final fully franked dividend for the fiscal year ended June 30 to 3.85 Australian cents per share from 7.25 cents per share in the year prior.

Together with an interim dividend of 3.85 cents per share, the company's total dividend for the fiscal year amounted to 7.7 cents per share, down from 14.5 cents per for the prior fiscal year.

The final dividend will be paid on Oct. 13 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 8.

As of Aug. 14, US$1 was equivalent to A$1.27.
