Salem, Ore.-based Pioneer Trust Bank NA named John Willburn president, the Statesman Journal reported Jan. 6.

Willburn's appointment took effect Jan. 1; he took over from S. Randolph Compton, who will still be the bank's CEO of banking services. Michael Compton will also continue serving as CEO of trust and investment services.

Willburn was previously senior vice president and COO and will keep the latter position along with his new post.
