Duke Realty Corp. will pay a special cash dividend on its common stock of 85 cents per share Dec. 12, to shareholders of record as of the close of business Dec. 1.

The distribution is mainly the result of the sale of about $2.85 billion of assets through Sept. 30, including the roughly $2.75 billion sale of Duke Realty's medical office portfolio.
