Chicago-based business event management company PRA Inc. bought Downers Grove, Ill.-based One Smooth Stone, which designs and produces brand-building events and campaigns, for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition allows PRA to add design and production of business events to its service offering.

PRA is a portfolio company of private equity firm CI Capital Partners LLC, which backs middle-market companies in North America.
