Cotinga Pharmaceuticals Inc. said June 2 that Victor Hugo was appointed CFO, effective July 20.

The Boston biopharmaceutical company said Hugo will succeed Gene Kelly, who has served as CFO since 2006.

Cotinga also appointed Matthew Bond to its board and chairman of the audit committee, effective July 1.

Bond succeeds Douglas Alexander, who served as a board member and chairman of the audit committee since 2008.
