A sophisticated cyber spoofing attack hit the Humana.com website and the Go365.com wellness site, Health Data Management reported, citing a June 21 notification letter that Humana Inc. sent to its members.

Humana notified a number of affected members that their personal information may have been compromised due to the attack, which came from one or more undisclosed foreign nations, according to the report. However, the health insurer said there is no evidence that any data was removed from its systems.

The attack was discovered June 3.

Humana declined to provide additional details on the breach, according to Health Data Management.
