Mexico's GDP grew 0.6% in the fourth quarter of 2016, slowing from 1.0% growth in the prior quarter, according to initial estimates from the country's national institute of geography and statistics INEGI.
Compared to the year-ago period, fourth-quarter 2016 GDP grew 2.2%.
The initial figures, INEGI noted, are subject to change. The agency will release its regular quarterly GDP statistics Feb. 22.
