New York-based insurance broker Marsh LLC named various executives for its U.K. and Ireland business, which will become effective when the transaction between its parent firm Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group PLC closes.
Peter Elson will serve as CEO of aviation, while Mark Costin will become deputy CEO of aviation.
Andrew Herring was named CEO of energy and power, and Rupert Mackenzie was appointed deputy CEO of energy and power. Andrew Barnes will become chairman of energy and power.
Tim Smith was appointed CEO of construction and real estate, while Philip Lazell was named chairman of construction and real estate.
Paul Denny will become CEO of financial lines and professional liability, and Sarah Hughes will serve as deputy CEO of financial lines and professional liability.
Matt Strong was named CEO of credit specialty.
Andrew Hunt was appointed CEO of private equity and mergers and acquisitions.
Gordon Longley will serve as CEO of marine.
They will all report to the head of Marsh-JLT Specialty U.K and Ireland, Paul Moody.
Marsh has also named key leaders for its regional, specialty and placement teams worldwide, also effective after the close of the Marsh-JLT transaction.
