Insurance moves: Prudential Financial appoints head of individual solutions

Life and health

Prudential Financial Inc. has named Caroline Feeney head of its individual solutions group, which consists of annuities and individual life insurance.

She currently is president of individual life insurance.

Concurrently, Salene Hitchcock-Gear, currently president of Prudential Advisors, was named president of individual life insurance, which includes Prudential Advisors.

The appointments are effective June 15.

TIAA appointed Lori Fouché as senior executive vice president and CEO of retail and institutional financial services, effective Aug. 7.

She will oversee the company's institutional and individual client services groups.

Previously, Fouché was head of individual solutions at Prudential Financial.

Managed care

Tufts Health Freedom Plan appointed Geraldine Vaughan as president.

Most recently, Vaughan was chief operating officer at Rush Health, a healthcare system in Chicago.

Property and casualty

Willis Towers Watson PLC named Rich Keefe head of investor relations, which was previously led by Aida Sukys.

Keefe will also retain his role as head of the company's financial planning and analysis function.

Sukys was named head of global finance business operations. She will also assume direct responsibility for the global corporate risk and broking segment and North America geography.

The company also named Andrew Krasner as global treasurer, in addition to his current role as head of mergers and acquisitions, which includes global merger, acquisition, joint venture, divestiture and strategic investment activity.

RLI Corp. named Seth Davis vice president of corporate services.

He previously was vice president of internal audit. Davis will lead the company's assessment of internal controls over financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and other non-audit governance activities.

Additionally, the company named Patrick Ferrell to replace Davis as vice president of internal audit. He will lead company internal audit assurance and advisory activities.
