The Procter & Gamble Co.-owned Gillette said March 14 it teamed up with recycling company TerraCycle to launch a nationwide razor recycling program.
Consumers who join the program will have to download a self-funded TerraCycle tracking label, repack the used razors and send them to TerraCycle for recycling.
Gillette will also invite businesses, gyms, colleges, cities and community organizations to set up public drop-off points for the recycling program.
The scheme will apply to disposable razors, replaceable blade cartridge units and packaging.
