iBoxx MSCI ESG SRI USD Liquid Investment Grade Ultrashort
Description
The iBoxx MSCI ESG SRI USD Liquid Investment Grade Ultrashort measures the performance of investment grade, USD-denominated liquid ultrashort corporate bonds that meet specific ESG screening criteria. Fixed coupon bonds must have a time to maturity of up to one year at rebalancing, while floating rate notes must have up to three years, with all bonds requiring a minimum one year time to maturity at issuance and remaining in the index until maturity. The index comprises bonds with a minimum amount outstanding of USD 500 million. The index uses MSCI ESG Research data to exclude issuers with an ESG rating of BB and below and those involved in weapons, firearms, tobacco, adult entertainment, alcohol, gambling, nuclear power, GMOs and fossil fuels, as well as those with a notable controversy, requiring at least 20% issuer exclusion from the benchmark and a 3% issuer cap applied to remaining constituents.
