iBoxx MSCI ESG Advanced USD Liquid Investment Grade
Description
The iBoxx MSCI ESG Advanced USD Liquid Investment Grade is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, USD-denominated corporate bonds from developed market issuers with average or above ESG ratings relative to their sector peers. Bonds must have a minimum amount outstanding of USD 750 million and issuers must have a minimum total amount outstanding of USD 2 billion. Securities must have a minimum initial time to maturity of 3.5 years at issuance and a remaining time to maturity of at least three years at rebalancing. The index excludes issuers involved in controversial activities, as well as those violating UN Global Compact principles, having an ESG rating below B or having severe ESG controversies. The index applies a 3% issuer cap.
