Description

The S&P Target Date Retirement Income Index is a multi-asset index of indices designed to represent the allocations of the U.S. target date fund space without an explicit vintage but with a mandate to provide retirement income. An annual survey of allocations of target date funds is used to determine eligible asset classes and weights for the index. Any funds past the target date which do not have a current eligible index vintage are used to determine the weights of the retirement income vintage.
