Description
The iBoxx Global Government Overall (EUR Hedged) is designed to measure the performance of investment grade sovereign debt issued by global central governments. The index includes local currency-denominated bonds with minimum amounts outstanding that vary by country. Securities must have a minimum initial time to maturity of 18 months at issuance and a remaining time to maturity of at least one year at rebalancing. Countries must maintain a minimum market size of USD 50 billion and have no significant capital controls.
