The iBoxx EUR Germany Sovereign & Sub-Sovereign Liquid Index is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, EUR-denominated sovereign and sub-sovereign bonds issued by Germany and sub-sovereign entities domiciled in Germany, with a minimum amount outstanding of EUR 2 billion for sovereign bonds and EUR 1 billion for sub-sovereign bonds. Bonds must have a remaining time to maturity of at least 18 months at rebalancing, with bonds having less than 15 months to maturity being removed from the index. In cases where there are fewer than 13 eligible issuers, supranational issuers from the Markit iBoxx EUR Index become eligible for inclusion.
