First Hawaiian Bank vice chairman, chief banking officer to retire

and Chief BankingOfficer Raymond Ono is set to retire, effective July 1, Big Island Now reported May 10, citing Chairman and CEO Robert Harrison.

MitchellNishimoto is set to become executive vice president in charge of the retailbanking group. Currently executive vice president and chief risk officer,Nishimoto will remain on the senior management and credit committees of the Honolulu-basedbank, which is a unit of BancWestCorp.

The bank'sultimate parent is BNP ParibasSA.
