Legacy Iron Ore Ltd.'s inferred resources at its Blue Peter deposit, part of the Mount Celia gold project in Western Australia, increased about 157% to 51,100 ounces.
The deposit hosts 607,200 tonnes at 2.62 g/t gold, at a 1% cut-off grade, according to the March 22 release.
Combined with the previously reported resources at the Kangaroo Bore prospect, total inferred resources at Mount Celia now stand at 184,100 ounces, contained in 3.4 million tonnes at 1.68 g/t gold.
The company will conduct an initial scoping study within the next few weeks to investigate mining potential at the Mount Celia project. Legacy Iron also intends to drill test priority targets at the project in the next few weeks.
