Fortis Payment Systems is a payments technology and merchant services provider based in Novi, Mich.

Lovell Minnick Partner Trevor Rich and Operating Partner Greg Cohen will join the Fortis board.

Sidley Austin LLP served as legal adviser and the Strawhecker Group served as payments adviser to Lovell Minnick. Butzel Long was counsel to Fortis.
