HelixResources Ltd. said July 18 that it has appointed Pasquale Rombola part-timeexecutive chairman.

Rombola will oversee corporate strategy and investorrelations.

Additionally, Paul Payne was appointed as a consultanttechnical adviser, working closely with Managing Director Mick Wilson.

The appointments were made due to the company's increasedfocus on the New South Wales, Australia, copper and gold projects as well asexploration success at the Collerina copper-zinc project.

Additionally, the company noted that explorationprograms are ongoing to advance Collerina and the nearby gold project, both in NewSouth Wales.

Geophysics and geochemical surveys are underway at theCollerina which will help in prioritizing targets for the next drill program.Meanwhile, a diamond and aircore drill program is due to begin next week atCobar.
