Oglethorpe Power extends maturity of credit agreement

Oglethorpe Power Corp. amended the unsecured $1.21 billion credit agreement it holds with 12 lenders, extending its maturity to Dec. 11, 2024.

The previous $1.0 billion limitation on the company's issuance of commercial paper supported by the credit agreement was also removed.

National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corp. acted as administrative agent on the transaction.
