Theodoros Kokkalas will succeed Achim Kassow as chairman of Ergo Deutschland's board of management, effective May 1, 2020.

Kokkalas has been CEO of Greece-based Ergo Life Insurance Co. SA since 2004. The announcement of his new role comes after Munich Re said its supervisory board named Achim Kassow to its board of management.
