Cartier Iron walks away from taking stake in Incienso gold property in Chile

Cartier Iron Corp. said Aug. 11 that it will not pursue a definitive agreement on the proposed acquisition of a 55% interest in the Incienso gold property in Chile.

The deal with private Chilean corporation Compañia Minera La Rubia SA was announced in June, but Cartier decided to terminate the option.

The group did not elaborate on the reason. It will not incur further costs.
