RareX acquires new Weld North rare earths project in Western Australia

RareX Ltd. submitted a tenement application in Western Australia for exploration license E38/3455, to be known as the Weld North project, which will complement its Cummins Range rare earths project.

The company plans to conduct reconnaissance mapping work before starting exploration, it said Dec. 12. RareX expects the application to be granted in early to mid-2020.

RareX said it will remain focused on advancing its flagship Cummins Range project toward production, where a maiden drill program is scheduled to start in the next quarter to explore target areas, better define the mineralization and expand the existing resource.
