IBM grosses $900.0 million from debt offering

International Business Machines Corp. raised gross proceeds of $900.0 million from an offering of floating rate senior unsecured notes due Aug. 18, 2017.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital and acquisitions or investments.

Barclays Capital Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the lead underwriters.

BNY Mellon Capital Markets LLC and Standard Chartered Bank New York also served as underwriters for the offering.
