Platts proposes weekly Asian POM resin spot assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch new CIF China Polyoxymethylene (POM) resin weekly price assessments for Asia, effective Oct. 30.

The assessment would reflect POM copolymer as below.

The proposed assessment would reflect spot values on a weekly basis on Wednesday as of 4:30 pm Singapore time and follow the Singapore publishing calendar.

The new assessment would be published on Platts Connect and Polymerscan.
