iBoxx EUR Breakeven Euro-Inflation France & Germany Index

Description

The iBoxx EUR Breakeven Euro-Inflation France & Germany Index is designed to measure breakeven inflation through a combination of long positions in inflation-linked bonds and short positions in sovereign bonds with adjacent durations. The index includes investment grade, EUR-denominated sovereign bonds from France and Germany, with potential inclusion of other Eurozone countries, with a minimum amount outstanding of EUR 2 billion. Securities must have a remaining time to maturity of at least one year at rebalancing. The index must maintain a minimum of six inflation-linked bonds and six nominal sovereign bonds, with an individual bond cap of 30% within its respective portion. The nominal sovereign bond position is constructed in a way that the index duration is neutralized.
