Public Service Co. of New Hampshire upgraded at Moody's

Moody's on July 19 upgraded 'sissuer rating to A3 from Baa1 senior secured and first mortgage bond ratings toA1 from A2.

The ratings action follows a decision by the New HampshirePublic Utilities Commission to authorizethe divestiture of hydroelectric and fossil fuel generation facilities owned bythe Eversource Energysubsidiary.

"We believe PSNH's credit profile will strengthen as ittransitions to a lower risk regulated transmission and distribution utilityupon the sale of the generation assets," Moody's said.
