BBX Minerals Ltd. has appointed André Douchane as the new CEO, following Jeff McKenzie's stepping down from the position effective Oct. 21.

Douchane will also join the company's board as an executive director.

Prior to BBX, Douchane had served different roles including as COO, CEO and chairman roles in various mining companies including Round Mountain Gold Corp., Battle Mountain Gold Co., Franco-Nevada Corp., North American Palladium Ltd. and Starfield Resources Inc.
