Fitch Ratings said July 14 that it affirmed and withdrew theratings of BarclaysPlc's Taipei branch as the branch will close in 2017.

The rating agency affirmed Barclays' Taipei branch's nationallong-term rating of AA+(twn) and national short-term rating of F1+(twn) andsimultaneously withdrew the ratings as the branch is in the process of windingdown its business.
