TMX Group Ltd. appointed Alison Simpson to the newly created position of senior vice president of marketing and branding.

Simpson will lead corporate communications and media relations in building the company's marketing strategies through digital, mobile and social media channels.

She previously was senior vice president of marketing and customer experience at Holt Renfrew.
