FitchRatings affirmedthe A+ long-term and F1 short-term issuer default ratings of Prudential Plc, and the AA insurer financial strength ratingof Prudential Assurance Co. Ltd.

The ratingagency also affirmed the AA long-term insurer financial strength ratings of and Jackson National Life InsuranceCo. of New York. Fitch further affirmed the F1+ short-term insurer financialstrength rating and AA- long-term issuer default rating of Jackson National LifeInsurance Co.

The outlookson the group's long-term issuer default and insurer financial strength ratings arestable.

Fitchsaid the ratings reflect Prudential's strong and resilient capital position, operationalscale and strong business position in each of its key markets: the U.K., the U.S.and Asia.
