Report: Barclays investment banker to head EMEA equities unit of Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse Group AG has appointed Mike Di Iorio to be its new head of its equities operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Reuters reported May 25, citing an internal memo of the bank.

Di Iorio will join Credit Suisse at the end of August from Barclays Plc, where he was responsible for global equity sales. He will report directly to Mike Stewart, who will take charge of Credit Suisse's global equities business from July.

Stewart, who was hired by Credit Suisse in December 2016, is based in New York and Di Iorio will be based in London.
