Hana Financial Group Inc. has retained CEO Kim Jung-tai as chairman for a third term following shareholders' approval, Yonhap News Agency reported March 23.

Kim was one of three candidates shortlisted by the group in January for the role, whose reappointment comes amid an ongoing probe by South Korean regulators looking into the company's hiring practice and a loan to a scandal-hit startup.
