The iBoxx € Germany Covered Capped 1-3 is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, EUR-denominated covered bonds from German issuers, with a minimum outstanding amount of EUR 500 million for new issues and EUR 1 billion for legacy bonds. Securities must have between one and three years remaining time to maturity at rebalancing. The index includes a maximum of 25 bonds with an age of no greater than 4 years, with a maximum of 3 bonds per issuer and each issuer capped at 25% of the overall market value.
