The iBoxx € Covered 1-10 is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, EUR-denominated covered bonds. The index includes bonds from Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S. Bonds must have a minimum amount outstanding of EUR 500 million and EUR 1 billion for legacy bonds, with a remaining time to maturity between 1 and 10 years at rebalancing. The bonds must be secured by a general pool of assets in case of issuer insolvency, particularly those conforming to UCITS 22.4 or similar directives, or bonds with equivalent risk and credit profile considered by the market as covered bonds.
